Bisnis, JAKARTA — According to information gathered by Bisnis, nine out of 11 public palm oil companies have seen gains in net profit attributable to parents during January–March 2024.
Triple-digit net profit increases were achieved by PT Eagle High Plantations (BWPT) and Salim Group’s PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia (LSIP), along with the latter’s parent PT Salim Ivomas Pratama (SIMP).
PT Triputra Agro Persada (TAPG) leads in net profit among public palm oil companies with IDR370.8 billion, followed by PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology (SMAR) with IDR307.1 billion.
PT Sumber Tani Agung Resources (STAA) investor relations head Edward Wijaya said the company’s revenue and profit growth in the first quarter was thanks to an increase in CPO average selling price and sales volume compared to the same period last year.
