Analyzing the Export Performance of Automotive Companies

Bisnis, JAKARTA — Amidst the subdued conditions of the domestic automotive market, several automotive component manufacturers, including DRMA, AUTO, GJTL, and SMSM, have initiated expansions into international markets.

In a recent development, PT Dharma Polimetal Tbk. (DRMA), a subsidiary of the TP Rachmat conglomerate, commenced its inaugural export venture of automotive components for electric vehicles to Montgomery, Alabama, United States (US).

President Director of Dharma Polimetal Irianto Santoso expressed that this initiative marks the beginning of the company's export journey for automotive components to the US. Through its subsidiary, PT Dharma Kyungshin Indonesia, DRMA supplies wiring harness-type components to the United States, catering to Hyundai and KIA vehicles.

“The total value of the Company's export series is planned to reach around $15.8 million in 2024, and $26.8 million in 2025,” mentioned Irianto during the event held at the Dharma Kyungshin Indonesia Factory in Cirebon, West Java on Tuesday (14/5 /2024).
