Bisnis, JAKARTA – The commencement of the political year and the democratic party elections in 2024 bring a newfound opportunity for the hotel industry.
During the early months of 2023, business activities in the capital city have experienced a significant surge, particularly since mid-March when the Ramadan begins, leading to a slight slowdown in activity, followed by the festive period of Eid Al-Fitr in April.
Various government agencies have proactively scheduled their activities at the start of the year to mitigate the anticipated slowdown during the Ramadan and Eid periods.
Anticipating the 2024 political year, the hotel sector is expected to experience a boost, as preparations for the elections often take place in hotels leading up to the voting day. However, currently, there is relatively limited activity related to the election agenda scheduled for early 2023.
